COMPANY DANCER COSTUME MISTRESS INSTRUCTOR: PRE TAP Micah has been a student at Xclaim (formerly Charisma) Centre for the Arts since 2009. She is a homeschool student and the oldest of 9 siblings. Since 2009 she has studied Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Tap dance and Acrobatics. Her teachers at the school have included: Mary Vickery, Mariah Layne French (her mom), Bethany Lee, Ruth Keysor, Amy Schmidt, Daryse Osborne, Lisa D'Onofrio & Jenna Swartz. She also studied dance at the Ohio State University's Summer Dance Intensive for two years. Her debut performance with Xclaim was as an aerialist “The Elephant Bird” in Xclaim’s 2015 Fanciful Danciful. Micah has also served as costume mistress for the past 7 seasons. This is her fifth season dancing with the company. She is excited to continue this chapter of growth in pursuing her passion! |
