INSTRUCTOR: TUMBLING STUDENT OUTREACH COORDINATOR Mary began her dance training at Charisma Centre for the Arts in 2002 after a previous background in gymnastics. She has trained in many styles of dance including Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Tap, and Pointe as well as Aerial Silks. In 2010 Mary was a part of the ICEJ Feast of Tabernacles Dance Company in Jerusalem. From 2010-2017 Mary worked with Xclaim as a dancer choreographer and workshop instructor. From 2017-2019, Mary was a dancer with Arrows International in Oklahoma and had the opportunity to travel and perform both locally and internationally. Mary has taught a wide variety of movement styles both in Columbus and Oklahoma City. The opportunity to blend faith, emotion, and story-telling is Mary’s favorite part of dance. Mary resides in Columbus with her husband Jon and their delightful son Ira. |
