REHEARSAL CAPTAIN COMPANY DANCER INSTRUCTOR: BALLET & PILATES Corinne began dancing at the age of 8 as a part of church dance ministry. In 2010 she started training at Leaps of Faith Christian Dance Company in the art of ballet. Her interests grew as she pursued more styles such as: Jazz, Hip-Hop, Tap, Modern and Pointe. She has been teaching ballet and hip-hop at Leaps of Faith Christian Dance Company since 2015 and has been teaching as a part of our community since 2018. Corinne attended “Vertical Movement” workshop in 2013-2014 where she was introduced and fell in love with contemporary movement. She eventually had the opportunity to dance alongside Messiah Dance Company, a traveling dance ensemble for Paul Wilbur, from 2011-2018. Venturing in the professional realm she had the privilege of taking a master class with one of Martha Graham’s former principal dancers, Abdiel Jacobson, and has participated in the Martha Graham Dance Intensive, both Spring 2020 & Summer 2025, broadening her technique further in the art of modern dance. In 2025 Corinne earned her certification as a Pilates instructor, and enjoys her love for fitness with Xclaim and around the Central Ohio area. Corinne first joined Xclaim Dance Company as a dancer 2017. She is excited to be sharing another season with Xclaim! |
