COMPANY DANCER INSTRUCTOR: KIDS MODERN & KIDS PRAISE Kalyn began dancing at the age of four in her hometown of Marion, Ohio. As she grew older, she broadened her dance experience by enrolling in a multitude of styles and participating in an array of dance related activities. These many opportunities solidified her passion for dance, which ultimately led her to Anderson University (IN) where she received a bachelor of arts degree in dance pedagogy. While at Anderson, Kalyn had the privilege of setting original works for both their fall and spring concerts as well as dancing in pieces set by professors and fellow dance majors. She also served as the Campus Outreach Coordinator for their student-led dance ministry. Kalyn is devoted to creating an environment that allows dancers to move with power, protection, and purpose in order for them to see strength and beauty in their dancing! |
